When tragedy strikes shortly after Alex Chen arrives at the picturesque mining town of Haven Springs, resulting in the death of her brother, Life Is Strange: True Colors follows her as she works to uncover the truth about what happened that night.

As with the other games in this series, True Colors is an emotionally-charged journey driven by difficult choices and filled with memorable characters. To help players gain further insights into the protagonists' thoughts, previous Life Is Strange entries had a journal and text message feature that updated as the story progressed. In addition to these, True Colors also included MyBlock, a social media site where the town's residents discuss local events.

For dedicated fans willing to pore over every comment to soak up as much information as they can, MyBlock was a welcome addition that fleshed out the ensemble of characters. For everyone else, though, this mechanic was quickly dismissed.

With no hidden plot beats or secret revelations tucked away in the timeline, there's nothing on this site that players won't discover by playing the game normally. Every second spent scrolling through this virtual space is time that could be spent actually playing this incredible game.
