13. Sebastiano Di Ravello - Just Cause 3

Just Cause 3
Square Enix

Set six years after its predecessor, Just Cause opens with Rico Rodriguez returning home, only to discover his country has been conquered by General Sebastiano Di Ravello. Terrified that everything he ever loved will be consumed by the totalitarian regime, Rico vows to bring Di Ravello's reign of terror to an end.

However, the diabolical despot is consumed by power, meaning he's not going down without a fight. Even after destroying Di Ravello's empire, the insane dictator keeps coming, going so far as to chase Rico into an active volcano while piloting an armoured helicopter.

When Rico isn't blasting at Di Ravello's chopper, he must use his wing-suit to dodge machine-gun fire and missiles. Manoeuvring around the volcano is tricky, since Rico needs to avoid landing inside all of the lava lakes. A single mistake can have fatal consequences, so this battle can be incredibly frustrating.

Which is why it's reassuring to learn Rico came prepared. If our hero attaches a grappling line to the bottom of Di Ravello's helicopter, it'll smash into the ground, exploding into a million pieces. It's not easy to pull off but it'll save players one hell of a headache.
