11. Star Wars Battlefront II

Release Date: November 17th

Dropping only a couple of weeks after Call of Duty, the war for 2017's premiere FPS spot is now fought not only on the beaches, but across the galaxy.

Thankfully, Battlefront II is one of those "We're sorry we messed up, here's everything we should've done!" sequels. Y'know, like Assassin's Creed II.

That means a full story, the removal of icon-based spawning into ships, better lightsaber combat, a wider variety of levels (including Prequel-era maps) and an attitude that does away with reliance on DLC and microtransactions to get the full package.

In short - and thanks to its graphics engine being second to none - if done well, this could be the definitive Star Wars game we originally thought was releasing back in 2015.
