18. LaserScope

Konami
Platform: NES
Worst Feature: The Laserscope would randomly trigger at even the quietest background noises. Something of a 90's gaming icon, the LaserScope fit around the players head, allowing them to aim at enemies through the crosshair that covered one eye, before yelling "FIRE!" to pull the trigger. Unfortunately, it basically didn't work, and became a laughing stock not just because of its appearance, but also due to its unreliable microphone and aiming system.
17. AlphaGrip AG-5

AlphaGrip
Platform: PC
Worst Feature: AlphaGrip's insistence that we should all take the time to learn how to use this superfluous junk. The idea behind this monster is that it can be used not only as a controller, but also as a keyboard. The AlphaGrip has 42 buttons, which can be pressed in various combinations to type at "up to 50 words a minute". Bizarrely, 6 of the 42 buttons are SHIFT keys, with the exact same function.
16. Gameboy Booster

Saitek
Platform: Nintendo Gameboy
Worst Feature: The magnifying glass over the screen only served to make it much harder to see. The Gameboy Booster was a video game accessory that apparently hated portable gaming. Laughably bulky, the Gameboy Booster over doubled the original console's size, in order to accomodate a terrible joystick, additional speakers that sounded worse than before, and a magnifying glass that did absolutely nothing beneficial.
