Let's just get this out of the way first: I don't support PETA or any of its activities. That being said, its library of video games is pitched at just the right level of fun, wacky insanity. So long as you're not swallowing the Kool-Aid, they're hilarious. And a Cooking Mama game that casts the DS icon as a raving murderer because she happens to cook animals (who are already dead by the time she gets a hold of them, mind you) is just the tip of the iceberg. There's a striptease quiz that's meant to teach you about animal birth control (oh god no), a game in which you customise an adorable fish called a "sea kitten" because then maybe you won't eat it, Super Tofu Boy which is pretty self-explanatory, and a Pokemon fighting game that is just all kinds of messed up. These are officially parodies which means both that PETA can screw around with licensed characters and also that you can tap into their madness for free via their website since they can't actually sell these. Or, if you'd prefer to see some video game activism about stuff that's actually important...

Give it a listen. Five minutes. Maybe you'll dig it. Maybe you'll hate it. But at least you'll have tried something new.
