16. Thinking They Can Hear You When Theyre Wearing Headphones
Hey, love? What do you want to do for dinner? *click click click* Love? I was thinking about that pasta. Do you want to do chicken or something? *click click click* Can you answer me please? *click click click* Seriously? F***ing answer me, damnit! And then you break up with them in your mind. And then you realize how alarmingly quiet it is and has been for a while now. And then you realize theyve had their headphones on the entire time. And then you forgive them. But only a little bit. Most SOs of gamers feel that headphones are stupid and should never have been invented.
