14. The I Want To Be A Professional Gamer Talk
So, I think Im gonna quit my job. Oh really? Why is that? Well, Ive been thinking and I really just want to do something that I like, something that will make me happy. Thats great! What were you thinking of doing? Im going to be a professional gamer. Uh huh While there are a lot of people who get paid tremendous amounts of money to test games before release, compete in international competitions, etc., being a professional gamer is a pipe dream from just about anyone who picks up a controller. Yeah, itd be awesome to hang around the house all day, drinking gallons of Mountain Dew and eating all the Hot N Readys you can get your hands on, but thats not a professional gamers life. Thats a lazy buffoons life. It takes more than just skill and an elitist mentality to be a professional.
