Hey Mom. Oh yeah, they cant come to the phone right now. Theyreum well they're doing this thing where they only have like three minutes to, um, you know what? They're in the bathroom. For people who arent gamers, playing video games seem like a waste of time. When you have parents who call you to ask questions about their new iPad, chances are they arent going to understand why your SO cant come to the phone when theyre knee deep in a boss fight with only seconds left on the clock. Theres also the added tension of whether or not youll feel embarrassed that your SO would rather play a video game than talk to your parents.
