20 PS2 Games That Prove It's The Best Console Ever

15. Bully (Canis Canem Edit)

GTA: San Andreas Follow the train
Rockstar

For better or worse, Bully is a game which probably wouldn't fly today. Even at the time, the controversial open-world release had to have its name changed in the UK to Canis Canem Edit, but fortunately most of its teacher-bashing pranks remained untouched.

Despite fears of the game promoting bullying or glorifying kids being little s***s to each other, the end product was actually a charming, anarchic adventure title about sticking it to snobs, jocks, and anyone whose primary method of asserting who's boss was giving swirleys in the toilets.

Ultimately, every little mini-game was focused on the best way to bring other bullies down to size. Often, that involved riding around on a skateboard, dropping stink bombs and whacking people with slingshots from the shadows - essentially every little naughty thing you wished you could do in school back in the day.
