20 Reasons The Year's Biggest Video Games Might Suck

Ubisoft are on everyone's s***list right now, and sometimes even the best devs screw up...

Though the famous summer drought of gaming is fast approaching, there are still a number of hotly anticipated games due for release before then, as well as a ton of exciting titles to look forward to later on in the year. While it's likely that most games on this list will sell like hot cakes, the question remains: will they actually be any good? With so many developers releasing sequels (often unnecessary ones), and Ubisoft hard at work on tearing money from your wallet by any means necessary, there are sure to be more than a few games which end up flat-out sucking. So, what could go wrong? Careless PC ports, wheel-spinning sequels which fail to innovate, long-delayed games which actually just suck, rampant server issues, and perhaps just a failure to live up to immense hype (which is largely the fault of the gaming press). These problems abound every year, and 2015 will be no different. Though there hopefully won't be quite as many soul-crushing disappointment as last year (which honestly felt like one of the most underwhelming years for gaming in a long time), any one of these 20 games has the potential to fail. What should you take away from this list? Don't pre-order games. Wait until the reviews are out and you're sure the game is running properly: don't allow developers to take your money and run, because that's exactly what they want. Here are 20 reasons the year's biggest video games might suck...
