However, if you think this is actually the fastest way to make a ton of money in the game, think again, because there is actually an even quicker method that requires no cheats, and it can yield you up to 9,999,999 Simoleons per use.
If you own the High School Years expansion, you gain access to the Trendi app that lets you design your own outfits and then sell them online for a few extra bucks on the side... or millions of free Simoleons if you know what you're doing.
The game doesn’t tell you this, but whether you sell an outfit on Trendi is mostly based off of a random number generator that determines if your outfit has found a buyer.
Knowing this, you can put all of your outfits on the market for the maximum price of 9,999,999 Simoleons and then simply wait until someone inevitably buys them.
This will net you absurd amounts of Simoleons in one go and takes a lot less time than typing "motherlode" over and over again to achieve the same result.
