20 Simple Game Exploits That Make You OP
Breaking the game has never seemed easier!
Video game exploits are bugs or oversights in gameplay that allow the player to gain an unfair advantage that usually wouldn’t be attainable to them. Most of them offer overpowered abilities that can be a lot of fun to toy with, but this said, when an exploit requires a huge list of convoluted steps to activate, many players won’t be bothered to use it.
Which is exactly why you need an exploit that takes one easy step!
While other exploits can turn people away with complex triggers and meddling with the game's code, there are certain exploits that require only a single thing to happen. This doesn’t make them any less powerful, however. In fact, the simplicity is what makes them stronger.
If you want to get filthy rich or easily beat the game but don’t feel like spending half an afternoon figuring out how to do it, the following exploits are just the thing you need.
They’re easy to learn, they guarantee amazing results, and most importantly, you only need to do one thing to get them to work.
20. Superswim - Wind Waker
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker is one of the best titles in the series in terms of exploration. The feeling you get from traversing its vast world on your very own boat is something that not even Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom have managed to accomplish.
Still, sometimes you’d rather progress the game than appreciate the slow sailing across the seas. If that’s the case, there is one trick that will let you zoom past the map in an instant.
Superswim is a speedrunning strategy that allows Link to rapidly bounce across any body of water like a skipping stone on steroids.
The trick is incredibly easy to pull off. First, climb a small ledge, and then activate the Wind Waker just as you're about to fall off. This will cause the game to think you've canceled a cutscene twice and allow you to activate a glitch that will enable you to perform the Superswim.
Afterward, all you have to do is hold Lock-on, jump into any body of water, and then cancel out Lock-on while holding up the analog stick. This will rapidly accelerate Link's movement as he is spinning in place, and once you let go of the stick, he will be catapulted away, skipping across huge chunks of map in seconds.
The trick will turn you into the fastest thing in the sea, reaching any location on the map with the speed your boat could only dream of.
