Now, it's easy to see the not-so-hidden mechanics, with Objective A requiring Enemy X to be killed in Area Y. Much of this can be attributed to just being overly familiar with video games after years of playing. However, instantly available information online and extreme levels of marketing hype that reveal just about everything there is to know about most AAA releases doesn't help either.
