20 Upcoming Games That COULD Be Better Than GTA VI

In June 2022, Bethesda's Todd Howard confirmed that Fallout 5 would begin active development after completion of The Elder Scrolls VI.

Considering the phenomenal popularity of the last two mainline games in the post-apocalyptic RPG series, as well as the success of the ongoing Amazon TV series, Fallout 5 is going to do absolutely numbers whenever it finally comes out.

Given its embryonic state of non-development we don't know much concrete about the game so far, though Howard has confirmed that it will once again take place in the United States, with rumours pointing to a possible New Orleans setting. We can only hope.

Though there's a good chance we don't get to play Fallout 5 until the 2030s (!), the mainline series has consistently offered near-unparalleled levels of immersion for the medium, rivaled by few publishers save for, of course, Rockstar themselves.

With how much the Fallout brand has grown since 2015, expect Fallout 5 to be a genuine event of a release, with global productivity likely taking a notable dip just as it's expected to when GTA VI hits stores.
