Final Fantasy VII Revelation is undeniably one of the most anticipated RPGs of the decade - the third and final entry into Square Enix's staggeringly ambitious Final Fantasy VII remake project.
Given that Square Enix absolutely knocked it out of the park with the first two installments, why expect any different here?
We can bet on a visually stunning and emotionally gratifying conclusion to the trilogy, with the game also introducing a bevy of new features, such as Cid's controllable airship The Highwind, a parachuting mechanic allowing you to land anywhere on the world map, and a role-and-outfit system which allows players to change a character's combat style by equipping different costumes.
Regardless of whether Square Enix commits to the original tragic throughline for Aerith or changes her fate, Final Fantasy VII Revelation could very well be the strongest and most satisfying entry in the trilogy, in turn cementing the project as one of the greatest video game remakes of all time.
