13. The Last Of Us: Part Two - Release TBA
The sequel to The Last of Us, one of the PS3’s best games and possibly one of the finest games ever released, is a way off. Announced at Sony’s PlayStation Experience event at the end of 2016, The Last of Us: Part Two immediately jumped to the top of millions of most wanted lists, even if we don’t know a great deal about it yet.
Set five years after the conclusion of the original game, this time around the main playable character is Ellie, now 19 years old. Old grizzled Joel will feature, looking over Ellie. It’s unclear what state the world is in, the health of the main characters, or what the game’s story will be.
What’s definite is that The Last of Us: Part Two will be a visual spectacle, probably unlike anything seen on the PS4 to date. Uncharted 4 from Naughty Dog has already turned more than a few heads with its incredible visuals, and The Last of Us: Part Two will be a step up.
