13. Tyrant (Resident Evil)
Though there are technically two Tyrant fights at the end of Resident Evil, I'm going to combine them as one given that the first logically follows onto the next. The Tyrant is the biological weapon that S.T.A.R.S. turncoat Albert Wesker has been helping cultivate this entire time, and the first part of the fight sees the Tyrant escape from his stasis, immediately deciding to stalk you. With its massive size and deadly claw it's a force to be reckoned with, though if you keep your distance the first part isn't too difficult because it moves very slowly and never runs at you. Just pray that you have some Colt Python bullets left... As for the second part, this is where business picks up. You're about to make your escape from the helipad, when the Tyrant returns, and with only 2 and a half minutes left before the mansion explodes, time is pressing. The Tyrant will now run at you, so you have to continually run and dodge at the last minute to avoid that claw attack. After you let off enough shots, Brad Vickers will throw down a Rocket Launcher, which you must then dash to pick up and promptly fire at the Tyrant's face. The alternative method, if you're feeling lucky, is to keep dodging the Tyrant until 30 seconds remain, and Brad will just throw the Rocket Launcher down anyway. I can't describe to you how much the end of this fight used to stress me out as a kid. It's super intense and a great end to a superb game.
