Everything from the very first confrontation with him in the original Legend of Zelda all the way to his most recent defeat in A Link Between Worlds has been constantly adding to the character's lore, but no Ganon battle was more exciting or entertaining than the one featured in Twilight Princess. Riding on Epona while Zelda shoots Ganon with the trademark light arrows is one of the most defining moments of awesome in any game, as it instantly ups the scale from previous Ganondorf battles. It's one of the most purely epic boss fights of all time, with a constant sense of motion that carries through the entire fight and concludes with Link striking a devastating blow to his mortal enemy. The Twilight Princess battle with Ganondorf brings together all the most wonderful aspects of the series, mixing fun with childhood nostalgia.
