25 Most Replayable Video Game Boss Battles Of All Time

25. The Russian (The Punisher)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akW605l5tKc If you've seen the 2004 Punisher film starring Thomas Jane, you probably remember a scene that was very similar to this boss fight where Frank took on the Russian, as played by pro-wrestler and Super-Shredder himself Kevin Nash. It's clear that this fight takes some clever inspiration from that scene and the comic original, where there's tons of collateral damage to Frank's apartment and a sense of destructive fun that you just can't get enough of. Not to mention that the game itself is one of the most underrated comic book games ever, with a raw, violent streak that you can sink your teeth into. It's a joyous time to be had playing this particular fight, as there are numerous tools laying around Frank's apartment for you to get your hands on. You can pick up some meat cleavers and nightsticks to hit your enemy with, and while they don't do much good, it's all great fun just to hear the Russian's reactions to your feeble attempts at victory. The real fun comes from the interactive set pieces that are strewn around the apartment, where you can bash the Russian's head in with your refrigerator or slam him straight into your TV. It's a boss fight that you can continue to go back to for the sheer fun factor alone.
