Next time you're struggling to drop off to sleep on an evening, spare a thought for our poor videogame chums whose day/night cycle is so bizarre, there's little to no hope of getting some decent shut-eye.

It depends entirely on the videogame, but on some games, you can switch from day to night time in literally five minutes. Some might stretch it to an hour, but even that seems like it'd be extremely annoying.

There's so many ways this would be frustrating. You'd have to switch your car's lights on and off every couple of minutes. You'd never know whether it was lunch or dinner time. Your mind would probably melt from the constant changes in lighting.
