2. Final Fantasy VII Is Getting A HD Remake. Yes, Really.
Fans have been requesting it for years, but did anyone think it would actually happen? That's right, Final Fantasy VII is getting a remake, as evidenced by a gorgeous CGI trailer, demonstrating an art style and character designs similar to the Advent Children movie. The announcement naturally brought the house down during Sony's conference, as well as the fact that it would be coming to PS4 first, likely ahead of a PC and Xbox One release some time down the line. Nothing more than that was said, but in honest, did it need to be? This one's almost certainly a long while off, but the fact that it's actually happening is plenty to keep fans going.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
