3. Star Wars: Battlefront Promises Beautiful Mayhem (And Iconic Characters)
EA finally showed off some actual gameplay from this November's Star Wars: Battlefront, namely a multiplayer map resembling the Battle of Hoth from The Empire Strikes Back. The demo showed off both first and third-person action, as well as the use of an AT-AT, a jetpack, Tie Fighter, X-Wing and so on, ending with an epic showdown between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker on the battlefield. Yes, it does pretty much look like a re-skinned Battlefield, but it also looks like an absurdly entertaining re-skin. It damn near solely redeemed the catastrophic EA conference, but not quite.
