1. Worst: On-Disc DLC
We would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you meddling gamers! Well, this one caused some waves didn't it? Now that everyone has access to PCs and tech-wizards around the globe can pick apart absolutely everything that's on a game disc, startling discoveries were made. Many games, including several Capcom titles, had the actual downloadable content already on their discs! That meant that all they'd done is simply deliberately locked out a part of their games until they could release downloadable content and charge for it. This, naturally, caused a massive backlash from gamers around the world. Look at Street Fighter X Tekken. That game had nearly $110 worth of locked downloadable content actually on the disc! It's utter madness and in no way is that ever going to go down well with the gaming world. Thankfully Capcom and other offenders seem to be revising how they do their DLC now, so well done internet.
