2. Extra Physics, Please

Well done. Beyond murder related tech prowess, we love the environmental, physics-based flourishes we see in PC graphical upgrades, and these new consoles seem fit to function on a comparable level. It's difficult to imagine a single way in which Rockstar could improve the fundamental weight and physical mechanics of motion in GTA V, but extra touches are always welcome. With mostly short-haired protagonists, Lara Croft's TressFX wouldn't hold much relevance here, but flowing fabric might. Remember all those tarps getting blown apart in the PC version of Mirrors Edge? Does anyone else get excited about shirts and pants that animate dynamically and independently? Sports fans? Obviously it's not impressive in real life, but neither is traffic density. Visually and physically, the subtlest factors of simulation can have massive gameplay ramifications. Imagine if your shirt could dynamically catch on a fence in the middle of a foot chase and you were forced to ditch it. What if you got hit by a car so hard that you lost a shoe? If Rockstar is keen on pushing traffic volume, perhaps the depth of sidewalk clutter is getting a realistic boost as well. With more accurately proportioned crowds, street-side debris and traffic jams, Rockstar's reputation for inner-city authenticity is about to reach the next technical level.
