5 Potential Games That Would Be Stunning On Next Gen

1. Red Dead Redemption 2

Red-Dead-Redemption Red Dead Redemption was a revelation. A Wild West GTA where the cars were swapped for horses and the gangs were swapped for groups of marauders. Red Dead Redemption is possibly my favourite game of this generation. It's a big, sprawling world which feels so unbelievably lived in that you can settle into it and lose yourself for hours. There are so many possibilities, it's a little overwhelming. Want to do the sizable campaign? You can. Want to go and start a drunken brawl in a saloon? You can. Want to kidnap a woman, hogtie her and leave her on the train tracks like an old villain from a Western? You can. This game is fantastic, and if you haven't played it, you absolutely must. Like the rest of this list (bar maybe Silent Hill), Red Dead Redemption 2 has to be coming. While there has been no official announcement from Rockstar, there have been rumblings of an announcement. I imagine that it is a similar state of affairs to Naughty Dog. They want to get GTA V out and let it breathe for a while before making the next project public, and if that's not Red Dead Redemption 2, I will be very surprised. I do not need to explain why Red Dead Redemption 2 will be fantastic, but just picture this; a rolling Wild West vista full of buried treasure to find, animals to capture and skin, bounties to capture, a story to thrill. Sound impressive? Well, I just described the first one. Roll on, number two. Which games do you want to see announced for the next gen platforms? Let us know in the comments below.
