1. It's The First True Sequel To Bioshock
Now don't get me wrong: I love Bioshock 2, because it added some new gameplay elements that were great (such as the option to pick up the Little Sisters and carry them around). Plus the story was really engaging. However, as many will know, it wasnt made by the same company as the original, so the world of Rapture didnt feel as fresh and the plot (while great) wasnt quite as memorable. With the original team back on board, you know this game is going to be brilliant - the original Bioshock was a classic and they have spent 6 years on it, so its clearly a labour of love. Im hoping that this time around the world of Columbia will be just as fresh, rich and interesting as Rapture was in the first Bioshock. Irrational really seemed to have refined all they could about this series whether it be the visuals, story or mature, adult themes and Im hoping it will live up to the very high standard set by the first Bioshock back in 2007.
