Like GTA before it, Red Dead Redemption 2 was full of side activities for players to enjoy.
On his travels, Arthur can partake in several gambling mini-games such as Blackjack, Dominoes, Poker, and Five Finger Fillet. While the games usually don't offer much of a challenge, they can be a fun way of grabbing a quick buck or passing the time.
Since Red Dead Online is absolutely chock full of cooldowns for certain high paying missions, having more side activities would be a welcomed addition.
GTA was met with some degree of backlash when the Casino came out due to the ability to purchase in-game currency for gambling. However, Red Dead's paid gold currency differs from the dollars used in the gambling.
After all, a poker mode was added to online back in May of 2019 where players could challenge random strangers or their friends to a quick hand.
Rockstar has yet to comment on whether some of the other party games might eventually make their way online.
