1. Fallout 4
You knew it was coming. The latest entry to the legendary post-apocalyptic RPG canon wasn't announced so long ago, yet the anticipation surrounding it has ensured that the wait has felt like akin to sitting around an underground vault for 200 years while the nuclear fallout on the surface clears. Which is a convenient (and obviously entirely coincidental) analogy, because in Fallout 4 you control the Sole Survivor, a man or woman who awakes from a 200-year deep sleep to head out into the wastelands of Boston. What's your goal? Who knows. Bethesda has been super-secretive about the game's story, focusing instead on showing off its beautiful, crisp graphics, settlement-building feature, crafting and other intriguing gameplay refinements that should make this the perfect game to see you through the next ten winters. The air of mystery surrounding Fallout 4 only adds to the excitement, ensuring that when we take our first steps in the wasteland on 10th November, we'll be just as oblivious as the game's hero about exactly what's in store. How many of these are you going to pick up? Let us know in the comments!
