7 Reasons Rocksteady's Suicide Squad Reveal Was A HUGE Disappointment

1. Was Gameplay Held Back For Fandome Part 2?

As mentioned earlier, mere days before the Fandome reveal event, DC Comics announced the formerly one-night event would be split in two.

The second half is now coming on September 12th, and will be an interactive showcase involving comics, movies, TV shows and games.

Obviously it's the latter that's most interesting in this case, given we have two all-new DC titles that drastically need more information.

In addition, Geoff Keighley's "One Night Live" event is on the 27th of August, providing yet another marketing opportunity for an all-too eager Warner Bros to capitalise on.

With the year 2020 has been and the proliferation of live stream reveals mostly being a net positive, it does have the knock-on effect of splitting showcases up to maximise streaming revenue and sponsorship tie-ins.

Right now we know VERY little about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and that means you'll tune back in faster than ever if something else gets lined up.
