7 Video Games From Popular Franchises You’ve Never Heard Of
4. Zelda's Adventure
The Phillips CD-i is known for one thing, its low-quality games that use Nintendo characters. Hotel Mario, Link: The Faces of Evil, and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon are notorious for their abysmal gameplay and equally awful yet hilarious animated cutscenes.
What people don’t seem to know about is the third Zelda CD-i game, Zelda’s Adventure.
The other two Zelda CD-i games have cutscenes that look like they were made by somebody who took one class in animation but slept through most of it, that’s what makes them notorious and worth playing, Zelda’s Adventure doesn’t have that luxury, instead, it is stuck with dreadful live-action segments.
Zelda’s Adventure almost makes the other Zelda CD-i games look good, it plays more like a traditional top-down Zelda game but with all the fun drained from it.
Everything looks disgusting, it plays badly, it barely works with you having to wait seconds at a time every time you move to another screen. It is considered by many of those who played it to be the worst Zelda game ever made.
There is a reason nobody talks about Zelda’s Adventure, it’s not even so bad it’s good, it’s just bad, bad and incredibly boring.
