In Saints Row IV upon completing companion quests for your fellow Saints, you can unlock the "Super Homie" version of whoever you were pitching in with.

This hilarious title is only matched by the sheer insanity of what you've given birth to through lending a hand, as while you were always able to call in assistance from the Saints, when you call in a Super Homie, they arrive on the scene with a very literal bang.

As now, they've got super powers as well!

While the immediate benefits of not taking splash damage from your attacks, and being hyper resistance to enemy fire are huge, it's the damage output of these monstrous avatars that are the true focal point here.

Watching your allies decimate enemies like butter meeting a ridiculously hot knife, it often becomes a moment for you to take your foot off the gas and watch the utter carnage unfold around you. The game never mentions that this was a feature, making the surprise of calling down one of these 'roided up regulars a true joy.
