God I love the Streets Of Rage franchise.

From heyday memories of being crowded round my friends mega drive all arguing to have a turn, to the recent return to form that was Streets Of Rage 4, the series has always been about two things above all else, namely fun arcade romps and clattering enemies with more bins and trash than even ECW would have deemed necessary.

However when it came to boss battles in the series, the fun times were usually put on hold for a brief spell because the majority of them would act like Daniel Day Lewis in There Will Be Blood and scream "I drink your milkshake" as they sucked up your pool of continues with their beefy straws.

Streets Of Rage 4 looked to approach things in a slightly different manner however by having the first few bosses be relatively easy, but that all came crashing down when players hit Stage 4 and came face to fist with the Comissionar. This guy does not mess around, and thanks to his incredible rush-grab attack, will plant you into the floor over and over if you're not careful.

Gone were the fun times of pissing about with your mates, as here it was time to get the piss kicked out of you by Comissionar Gordons angrier brother.

Making matters worse is that this this mustachiod meanie is able to call in help meaning you have to focus on clearing the screen once more, and any time you're not spent watching his attacks, is time you're going to be on the receiving end soon enough. Talk about hard justice.
