5. The Legacy of Kain
I've always wanted a reboot of the Legacy of Kain series, and though the game would likely resemble Darksiders quite closely, I'm going to include it anyway. Legacy of Kain was a set of five games which all took place in the world Nosgoth. Each game had its own story, but added to the chronicle of Nosgoth and of the titular character Kain, who was the series' antagonist vampire. What I like is that each game was a bit different from the previous, but they all knitted together in the larger story, which had become very complex by the end. What I'd like to see is a new story being told in Nosgoth with either new characters or the same characters in a different context. There is certainly room for a trilogy of games to be announced, each with individual stories, characters and game engines which would then resolve an overarching story by the end.
