8 Hidden Video Game Cutscenes You Were Never Meant To See

5. Plenty More Fish In The Sea (Shadow Complex)

Shadow Complex is a fantastic action-infiltration game which isn't afraid to poke fun at itself, especially during a non-canon secret ending that can be triggered halfway through the main story.

The thrust of the title focuses on Jason Fleming's attempt to rescue his missing girlfriend from the hands of some rather unsavoury soldiers (spoilers: it’s not all Mario and Peach, she’s more than capable of handling herself), however if you find that, for some reason, you’d actually like to hit this adventure on the head midway through, you can simply jump in a jeep and head back home.

Fleming himself even wryly lets out a dejected “Eh, plenty more fish in the sea” on his way out.

It’s a less than chivalrous - but ultimately hilarious - way to end the game, and also cuts down your playthrough considerably, giving you much more time to pursue love in real life, although hopefully with a little more commitment.
