8 HUGE Predictions For WWE 2K24
6. Variant Cover Stars
With 2K Game's recent announcement tweet making it clear that Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes are in a two-horse race for the position of WWE2K24's cover star, let's take a guess whose beaming mug will adorn copies of the game.
Normally, 2K Games make it difficult for WWE fans to guess who will grace the cover of each upcoming title. Sometimes it's the hottest name in wrestling (like Becky Lynch on the cover of 2K20, alongside a mardy looking Roman Reigns), other times it's a legend of the past, or a current superstar on the tail end of their career (like John Cena last year).
This year, however, the answer seems pretty clear: 2K Games will have their cake and eat it with variant covers.
For the Standard Edition, it's hard to look past Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare has been pushed hard as the company's biggest babyface, and is the clear favourite for appearing on the cover of the most popular version of the game. As for the the variant, Seth Rollins has done a cracking job legitimizing the WWE World Heavyweight Title in his defense-filled reign as champ, so expect him to be rewarded as the face of the Deluxe Edition of WWE2K24.
