8 Miscast Video Game Movie Roles That Ruined Great Characters

3. Raul Julia & Jean-Claude Van Damme - M. Bison & Guile

A tie for this third spot, as though you can point and laugh at pretty much every character in 1994's abysmal (and yet amazing) Street Fighter, Raul Julia's M. Bison and Jean-Claude Van Damme's Guile are just as bad as each another.

Firstly, M. Bison. The final boss of the game and yet another chap who became iconic because his top half would put Superman's barrel chest to shame, Raul Julia looked like if Bison was Captain America with all the super serum sucked out.

Guile on the other hand fares slightly better because at least Van Damme could somewhat look the part. The problem came with literally every single line thereafter, as not one - NOT.ONE - was delivered well, with any conviction or reverence for the source material.

Together they form a surprisingly watchable blend of naff acting, scenery-chewing and accurate costumes - just don't start comparing them to what they were supposed to be like.
