8 Nintendo Franchises That Need To Come To The Switch
4. Punch-Out
Punch-Out, whilst not one of Nintendo's most famous franchises, could be extremely effective on the Switch.
The game was recently bundled in with the NES Classic, and the concept still feels fresh and engaging in 2017. If the game can still feel fantastic 30 years on, there's no reason why it can't come back for their latest console.
Gripping the two Joy-Cons like fists would make for some complex sparring mechanics, and the haptic response on each punch would really pull you further into the experience.
The latest game in the franchise for the Nintendo Wii was a roaring success, and it shows that the core gameplay of the series is timeless. A graphical upgrade to the fun, cartoony style could also add a lot of flair to the game. There is also room for an online mode.
It could be an unforgettable multiplayer experience if Nintendo uses what they've learned from the ever popular Wii Boxing and the upcoming Switch title, ARMS.
