Ever since NXT brought WarGames back into the professional wrestling fold in 2017, fans have been clamouring for a digital representation of Dusty Rhodes' beloved brainchild. And with the concept finally making its way onto the main roster in last year's Survivor Series, the time is ripe for developers Visual Concepts to play Triple H and introduce WarGames to a whole new generation of gamers.
Honestly, we understand why it has taken so long for WarGames to appear in video game form. The two rings, massive cage and multiple challengers mean visual clarity will take a huge hit, and working around that issue must have taken a lot of brainstorming.
Hopefully, Visual Concepts have managed to come up with a solution. WarGames offers a spectacle unlike anything else in professional wrestling, and recreating it at home (in a manner that doesn't end with a trip to the local A&E) has been the dream of many a long-time wrestling fan.
