Who wouldn't want to take up the challenge of hunting down one of the world's most wanted men? Especially if it involves sporting some awesome 70s moustaches.

The story arc for the rise and fall of the "King of Cocaine" is so intense and addictive that if it turned up on a console, gamers everywhere would be losing sleep trying to complete it in one sitting.

Whether players fill the shoes of DEA agent Steve Murphy or Javier Pena, the game would obviously follow the agency's many and varied attempts to foil Escobar's exploits.

This ranges from blazing gun battles to subtler stealth missions in the dead of night but also includes incredible set pieces, like Escobar's custom-built prison, La Catedral which, combined with the 70s/80s setting, would make for a very stylistic game indeed.

The DEA could even take out factories and drug dens a la pirate hideouts in the Far Cry series, with the beautiful Medellin landscapes to match.

With so many story strands, the narrative structure lends itself perfectly to a gaming format, whether that's open world or level-based and the plot has enough nail-biting tension to make this game a smash hit.
