Though people may argue that the Ratchet & Clank series started a slow downward spiral after the first three PS2 classics, the multiplayer spin-off game, All 4 One, is still immensely fun to play, either by yourself or with up to three friends.

The opening sequence of the game has the team go up against a Light-eating Z'Grute, a creature that Dr. Nefarious unleashes on the city of Luminopolis in an attempt to destroy Captain Qwark. Moments prior, it stood within the city as a kind of fossilised statue, and, thanks to Nefarious, is now reanimated and ready to kick the bolts out of our unfortunate heroes.

Defeating this beast comprises the entire opening level of the game, having you go through all sorts of perilous courses and enemy onslaughts before you can finally send the striped so-and-so plummeting miles down to its death.

With all the horrifying creatures littering the Ratchet & Clank universe, couldn't Dr. Nefarious have found an easier way of killing Qwark than de-fossilising a local landmark?
