7. Your Opponent - Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing

Now technically, your racing opponent in the Over The Road Racing isn’t an enemy per sé. I mean, you ARE racing against them but it’s never been explicitly stated that this rubber ducker is out for your blood or anything. Sure, we COULD add a narrative that this unknown driver is a long term rival who stole your highschool sweetheart or bankrupted your Dad’s business or something, but that would totally go against how they’ve been programmed.

I say that because the rival driver refuses to cross the finish line on any of the races meaning that you will ALWAYS win! This game is an absolute mound of hot garbage when it comes to the code but it’s almost touching that the devs wanted players to feel the thrill of the win so badly, that they actively sabotaged the competition.

Therefore, if you want to win any race on Big Rigs... just do whatever! It doesn’t matter and your opponent will be waiting for you on the finish line to wave you onwards to victory. It’s a strange, broken and downright ridiculous game, but there you have it. Oh and it’s getting a remaster soon. Brilliant.
