6. Charging Money To Change Your Hair Colour - Dead Or Alive 6
Microtransactions have often been a horrifying source of "What" within the gaming industry as it seems that there are always new lows for publishers to stoop to when it comes to cutting out content from their games and selling it back to us.
However, Dead or Alive 6 manages to be the cream of the crap, thanks to its almost ludicrous amounts of cosmetic DLC, which includes a ridiculous example of charging the player to change a characters hair colour and then having the gall to charge you AGAIN if you wanted to change it back.
That's right: you're not unlocking the option to change your character's hair, but instead just the act of changing it. How utterly stupid is that?! And to put things into perspective, there are 460 pieces of cosmetic DLC you can "rent" from this game and four Season Passes. It's like the punchline to a bad joke, but nobody except Tecmo Koei seems to be in on it.
