8 Video Game Mysteries Developers Had To Solve

1. The Impossible Easter Egg - Call Of Duty: Black Ops III

Unlike every other mystery on this list, Call of Duty: Black Ops III's actually hasn't been solved yet, but a few short months from now, it's apparently going to be.

Shortly before Black Ops III's November 2015 release, director Jason Blundell revealed that the Shadows of Evil Zombies map contained an "impossible" hidden Easter egg which he flatly refused to reveal to players.

However, Blundell promised fans that he'd return to the matter eight years after the game's release and finally tell all, and given that November 6th of this year will mark exactly eight years since Black Ops III hit the market, it'll come time for Blundell to finally spill.

Though fans have made industrious efforts to uncover the mystery for themselves, they've had no luck whatsoever - it is, just as Blundell said, seemingly impossible to discover without knowing what you're looking for.

While Blundell has since left Treyarch and therefore stopped working on the Call of Duty franchise, hopefully he'll keep his word and put fans out of their damn misery a few short months from now. We're begging you, Jase.
