8 Video Game Remakes That Need To Happen (And What They Should Fix)

2. Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic II - Restore The Cut Content

KOTOR II might rightly be held aloft by many Star Wars video game fans as one of the best in the IPs library, thanks to its exceptional storytelling, tweaked and refined gameplay, and wonderfully designed levels that it still manages to pull an "o-face" from me time to time.

However, it's a game that carries with it a frustrating and blatant blemish in the fact that the game's ending just drops off a cliff which was down to intense studio meddling by LucasArts.

Poor old Obsidian Entertainment was given a hard deadline of the 2004 Holiday Season, and as such this intense time pressure resulted in a tonne of content being dropped from the game. The title shipped with more bugs than anyone was happy with, yet thanks to the strength of gameplay and character writing, KOTOR II went on to become even more revered than the original, which speaks volumes of the quality of the rest of the game.

Since its release fans have discovered huge swathes of data about the cut content, even going so far as to restore it to the game in the form of mods. To note it improves the title is an understatement, to say the least.

If this game were to get the love it deserves, then this content needs to be restored no question about it.
