So I know what you're thinking as you look at this header, "but Jules you hard-boiled egg that's been dropped on a barbershop floor, conspiracy shooter XIII already just got a remaster thanks to developer PlayMagic, stop being a greedy goose and go honk your brand of vocal piss elsewhere"

Well to that I'd say, yes you're right it did just get a remaster, but also that said remaster was utter stinky garbage.

Gather round kids and watch PlayMagic use sleight of hand to remove essential features from the original game like competent AI, sound effects for your guns, and all of the death animations, so we now only get one horrific ragdoll scenario that looks like you're turning the enemies into the Toy Story cast when a human walks into the room.

I never understand how video game remasters go this wrong when the original is right there for reference. Even the graphics look worse, and when we remember that the original game had cel-shaded models aka the easiest assets to make sing with a few tweaks, you have to wonder what pipe they were huffing on.

The end result is a rushed, lazy, nostalgia-baiting mess, and it needs to be scrubbed from memory and redone properly by a developer who gives a toss.
