8 Video Game Weapons You Were ASHAMED To Use
5. Farsight XR-20 - Perfect Dark
Sometimes a video game will introduce a weapon so overpowered that it will alter the way the very game plays forever and that was most definitely the case with the Farsight XR-20.
I say this because the moment that players learned of the spawn location of this absolute friendship ender, every match would devolve into a rush towards the hot spot, as the Farsight's ability to both be one of the most powerful sniper rifles in the game AND was also able to *checks notes* see through !*$% walls.
Yes that's right, the cheapest of cheap tactics was now a totally viable and developer included feature thanks to this game. And as you might expect it ruined pretty much any couch multiplayer session if even one of your mates knew its location and had even a modicum of skill. How could you not feel even a shred of guilt while using a gun that basically takes the concept of a fair fight and throws it out of the window?
What makes this even funnier is that there are defenders of this gun out there that claim "oh but I only used it to stop X from getting to it first" or "Well you still need to be a good sniper to make it work".
Come on mate, not even that Lynx body spray gift set your nan got you at Xmas is covering up your stinky sweaty shame.
