4. A Good Walking Dead Action Game - Overkill's The Walking Dead

Besides season 1 of Telltale's Walking Dead, why is it so hard to do a good Walking Dead game?!

We've had those lacklustre followup seasons, a freakin' Pokémon GO clone and the terrible Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, and yet, the series should be so easily to capitalise on.

Enter Overkill's The Walking Dead, something that admittedly didn't look to ever be the most polished experience, but was very much centred on applying Valve's Left 4 Dead-style gameplay to the world of Robert Kirkman and his characters.

Come launch it was... a disaster. Not even the most diehard fans were sold on months of half-baked gameplay, to the point where sales tanked and Overkill have had to release a "Starter Edition" to get people through the door.

It's a zombie shooter. How hard can that be to get right on this generation of hardware?!
