1. RC Helicopter Mission - Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

To say that the Playstation 2 era GTA Trilogy was something special is an understatement to say the least. Rockstar literally changed the way we all play with these releases and shattered the barrier of possibility in the industry as a whole. Not only could we now get well-written stories in our games, but now they could be truly open-world.

Back then we were lucky to get writing that would still hold up today and well, and open-world games weren’t released every month. Sure the controls in GTA left something to be desired, but it was the scope and possibilities that these games promised that truly grabbed millions worldwide.

But with all this potential came some missions throughout that were true stinkers. Yes, this is the best way to describe that nightmare of a mission in Vice City, in which you must guide an RC Helicopter through a construction site.

Maybe this seemed like a neat gimmick to the devs, but no doubt this caused many to pack it in. Ending Tommy Vercetti’s rise to power right there.
