9 Massive Video Game Rumours That Would Dominate 2016

6. Watch Dogs 2 Will Get Revealed At E3

Likelihood: 9/10 You knew this was coming at some point; Ubisoft weren't about to pour millions of dollars into a new franchise in 2013, only for it to face-plant the ground and be forgotten about forever. Rumours of Watch Dogs 2 have been reported to varying degrees of authenticity over the last two years, and website The Rebel even ran a story saying they'd obtained information from an unknown source within Ubisoft Montreal. WD2 is apparently going to take place in San Francisco (far away from Chicago and even further away from the universally despised Aiden Pearce), and in addition, the résumé of company employee, Julien Risse, had 'Watch Dogs 2' listed on her profile - until IGN ran with the story and she was forced to amend it. Lastly, Ubi rep Lional Raynaud spoke to CVG about the status and production of Watch Dogs 2, where he said the following;
€œThis is quite a high ambition and will require us to develop technologies that we didn€™t have for Watch Dogs 1, but this combined with fixing and refining what worked well is probably the way to go for Watch Dogs 2."
Ubisoft remain tight-lipped about the whole thing in an official capacity, but that only adds fuel to the fire that they're going to try and win back consumer trust at this year's E3.
