Riffing on the trappings of old top-down retro games, Retro City Rampage DX became an instant cult hit when it released back in 2012. Indulging in late '80s and early '90s pop culture as well as other popular indie titles, the game tapped into an aesthetic sensibility that Hotline Miami unfortunately took all the credit for reviving around the same time.

Still, RCR DX enjoyed a pretty solid fanbase, and when it eventually came to Playstation, limited to only 3300 physical copies, fans were quick to get their hands on it. Once again split between the PS Vita and PS4, the discs took a little longer to shift than other games on this list (probably thanks to the multitude of systems it was already available on), but now that it's sold out, it goes for a pretty penny.

Second-hand copies can be found for around the £130 mark on Amazon, however if you're wanting an unopened version it's going to set you back well over £200. Not bad for a game that's become so widespread since it launched over five years ago.
